Dinner tickets are sold out. Tickets to the breakout sessions only will be available for purchase at the registration table inside the restaurant building on the Thanksgiving Point Watertower Plaza beginning at 3pm on Saturday. Tickets to the breakout sessions are $5 per person and include BOTH breakout sessions (two classes).

Break out sessions will be held in the Thanksgiving Point Watertower buildings and will include the following experts and topics:
• “The New Science of Love” by Jeremy Boden, MFT. Intimacy is more than sex; it’s closeness, togetherness, attachment, familiarity, talking and friendship. This workshop will introduce some of the cutting-edge research of love and relationships and provide practical applications and skills to increasing emotional intimacy into your relationship.
• “Stress Free Finances” by Jim Brau. This workshop covers family finances in the context of how to limit financial stress in the marriage. Many families struggle with what is known as financial infidelity. We will discuss this issue and specific techniques to avoid it.
• “See you in the Funny Papers: Can the Comics Strengthen our Marriage?” by Geniel and Larry Childs. Do Frank and Ernest understand marriage better than you do? Through the lens of comics, we will examine several marital challenges and discuss ways to address them. Humor can help us see our marriage in a new light.
• “Dealing With Differences and Conflict Without Marital Hostilities” by Stephen Duncan. Differences and conflict occur in any healthy marriage. How they are handled makes a difference. Want to renounce marital war and proclaim marital peace? Learn how to deal with differences and conflict without resorting to marital battles that can destroy the good things in your relationship.
• “For the Love of Money” by Alena Johnson and Amanda Horrocks. Do you know your money habitudes? “Habitudes” are a combination of the habits and attitudes that influence our actions and behavior. Are you and your spouse on the same page about where your money goes? Come learn about your Money Habitudes to strengthen your marriage relationship.
• “Fireproof your Marriage” by Chuck and Danita Lovelady. "Fireproof" is a Christian movie which came out in 2008. The movie is the story of a firefighter who in an attempt to save his marriage tries a 40-day experiment know as "The Love Dare." There are several marriage principles from movie which will be highlighted during the workshop.
